The journey towards establishing the Ustica community cooperative continues

As part of the “Ustum Cultural Programme” project, a strategy for the social and cultural regeneration of the territory is being defined and implemented, starting directly from local citizens and operators. Within this framework, the goal is to make the community the driving force of change through the creation of a new, active organization. The idea stems from a shared desire to add value to local resources through innovative approaches (such as experiential tourism, relational tourism, resource integration, and the promotion of identity and skills), while finding answers to the community’s needs, critical challenges, and the vulnerabilities of the socio-economic system.

To establish the Community Cooperative—a new way for citizens to come together, become members, and work collectively towards sustainable goals for the common good—join us for the meeting on Thursday, October 30th, starting at 12:30 PM at the Marine Protected Area Info Point.
